What is Cork/Leather flooring?
Cork and Leather products have an extremely unique look and are environmentally friendly.
Cork floors are manufactured from the bark of an oak tree that is harvested every 9 years without cutting down the tree. The majority of cork harvested goes to the wine industry as corks and what is left from the press is manufactured into other products including cork boards and flooring. Cork floors are extremely durable with more dent resistance than other floors, while offering a more comfortable surface to stand on.
Leather flooring is made from 100% recycled leather, a natural way to ensure a cycle of material reuse that would have otherwise been discarded. Leather flooring is extremely durable and easy to maintain for use in any room in your environment.
Cork and leather products are available in a number of styles and colors. Boardwalk Hardwood Floors carries a wide selection of cork and leather flooring in our St. Louis and St. Charles area showrooms.
