Glue Down Installation Method

A glue-down installation method can be used on 5/16” inch solid wood flooring as well as engineered products. The wood floor is attached to a concrete or wooden sub-floor using an adhesive that has been applied with a notched trowel. This method of installation can be used below grade as well as any other level in the home.
This method of installation is primarily used over concrete sub-floors.  Boardwalk Hardwood floors recommends the nail down installation method over wooden sub-floors.
